Mission Statement
The John Muir Park Community Partnership strives to build relationships by providing a forum for sharing information, connecting neighbors, promoting activities and fostering civic involvement in our diverse community.
Vision & Values
We are a volunteer association striving to make our neighborhood a better place to live, with membership being open to everyone residing in the JMP Community.
We are responsive to our community’s needs through the relationships we build with our neighbors, community organizations, the City of Modesto and Stanislaus County.
We operate as a conduit of information for our neighbors. By providing speakers at our meetings, and maintaining a membership e-mail list and web site. We keep our neighbors aware of city and county operations, community organizations, events and potential developments and changes in the neighborhood.
We promote activities within our neighborhood, such as the annual family picnic and the new Bocce Ball project at John Muir Park.
We offer an opportunity for neighbors to bring forth their concerns and problems, providing direction and connecting them to resources for resolution of their issues.
